Paris from the Sacre Coeur at Montmartre

This is the amazing view of Paris from the Monmatre hill.

I went to the visit the Sacre Coeur Basilica on the hill. It has a special history with the impressionists (but didn't have time - on this occasion - to visit those landmarks).

It was a lovely spot to relax and take in the atmosphere.

So lucky to have visited this place.

I walked up the charming Rue Maurice Utrillo street to reach the top. 

Named after the painter Maurice Utrillo - who lived in Monmatre.
