Trip to Edinburgh ✎

I recently travelled to Edinburgh to see a special exhibition on Renaissance drawings and pictures.

These are some pictures of my day trip.

As soon as I exited the train station, I saw this enormous Victorian Gothic monument to Sir Walter Scott.

This is the National Galleries of Scotland.

It is in “The Mound” in central Edinburgh.

I visited the European art galleries.

I walked past these burial grounds kirkyard.

Charming, like most of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse.

I popped into this historic palace to see some Dutch masters.

Views of France from my plane’s window ✎

I managed to snap some wonderful photos from my window seat on the plane!

They're magical. I don't know how I managed to get these photos - but there was no photoshop editing.

I think it must have been a combination of sunshine, some rain, and lots of clouds ...

One of my hobbies is taking photos of charming doors.

Here are some doors I saw while going around Paris.

The Pont des Arts ✎

Marcelo and I strolled across the Pont des Arts on a wonderful afternoon.

We walked from the Institut de France (some kind of academy??) towards the central square of the Louvre Palace.

The Pont des Arts is the famous love-lock bridge.

Paris recently got rid of the locks.

We snapped a photo of ourselves. :)
