What is your TV show guilty pleasure?

Mine is Desperate Housewives. I absolutely love it.

I saw it all manys years ago, and I’m re-watching it all now ... it’s pure nostalgia at this point.

I’m off to lay on the couch watching it with some popcorn.

  1. You must have been very very young when watching it. I loved it too. So just enjoy !

  2. What a perfect choice for a guilty pleasure. I remember watching it years ago too, and it was so addictive. The drama, the secrets, the over-the-top plotlines—it was just the best kind of TV. The nostalgia factor must make it even better.
Enjoy your re-watch with the popcorn! You've definitely inspired me to think about what my own TV show guilty pleasure would be if I could have one.

  4. My only guilty pleasure is watching Judge Judy. Some people are so gross that I sometimes tape the programme and watch it when I am alone

  6. My guilty pleasure/secret shame (whatever you want to call it) is the long-running TV soap opera "The Young & The Restless." The plots are ridiculous, the characters are ridiculous, yet I have to watch it every weekday. I got hooked on the damn thing when I retired, after decades of avoiding cheesy soap operas like the plague.

  7. Hi Liam, hmmmm...I have to really think about this because to be honest I have been watching more on YouTube on my television than TV! LOL! I love game shows! Especially the classics from the 60's to 70's...Match Game with Gene Rayburn, Tattletales with Bert Convy, Password with Allan Ludden, Password +, Family Feud with Richard Dawson, Pyramid with Dick Clark (and Donny Osmond as well!), The Price is Right with Bob Barker, Win, Lose or Draw, (especially when Loni Anderson, who just died, was a celebrity...she was very good at drawing!). To Tell the Truth, Hollywood Squares with Paul Lynde as the center square. Well, you get the idea, yes...classic game shows. LOL!
