I followed Sky News all day. (It was Yom Kippur here and there were no TV broadcasts). I was amazed at the compassion and positive coverage towards the Jewish community after such a long period of negative attitudes towards us. My blog is muted for a while because even in blogland people like me need to tread carefully, I'll be back, I hear now that there are also violent demonstrations in Manchester against Israel. Right now. The lesson has not been learned.
I sat up all night to listen. What a hideous Day of Atonement it was.
