The Nazi-like barbarism of Hamas’s martyrdom ideology

The bodies of an Israeli baby Kfir Bibas (nine months old when kidnapped), his brother Ariel (4 years old when abducted), mother and elderly gentleman (Odad Lifshitz) were paraded in a ghoulish publicity stunt. Black caskets in front of baying crowds beneath an antisemitic poster of Netanyahu as a vampire.

Palestinian children were cheering and dancing in this depraved ceremony.

These images remind me of the Nazis.

The Palestinians are being conditioned never to view Jews as human beings. All Jews & Israelis - whether soldiers or civilians, little babies, ALL - deserve death.

How is any civilised nation supposed to be deal with this kind of savagery?

What fascinates me is that pro-Israelis (like myself) can admit to the faults on “our side”. Israel and the IDF can say, very loudly, that they don’t want innocent civilians to die. Human life is worth protecting. The pro-Israelis in this conflict feel unease and, even misgivings sometimes, about the toll of devastation inflicted on Gaza.

We condemn prison guards torturing Palestinian prisoners. The IDF has v. recently indicted (and soon to be tried) 5 Israeli soldiers for a horrific beating of a Hamas police officer. He “suffered broken ribs, a punctured lung and a tear to his rectum and subsequently required intestinal surgery.” This makes me proud of Israel. I have misgivings about Bibi and I also don't like the settlements of WB.

But the pro-pallys can never do the same.

They don’t actually ever want peace.

My heart goes out to Israel.

  1. It's good to have you back. I hope all is well with you. The recent news came as a great shock to me. Israel stands as a stronghold of Western civilisation. If Israel were to fall, the rest of the democratic West would inevitably become the next target.

  2. My feeling is that the whole of Hamas would have been very excited about the brutal mass murders at the Oct 2023 Nova music festival in Israel. After all, the people in the audience were all aged 18-25 and the Hamas massacres prevented these beautiful young people going into the army.

But not even the most bestial murderers (or their wives) would have wanted to massacre the Bibas family; mother of course but especially the two beautiful tots.

  4. Thank you again for your voice, everything is so lonely here in Blogland, there is a lot of comfort in your voice for the wounded soul of each of us here.
Oded Lifshitz, 86, who was taken with his wife Yocheved from his bed on Saturday morning to the Hamas tunnels in Gaza, stood every week for years on the Gaza border and transported sick children to a hospital in Israel for treatment. He was murdered by the same people who betrayed him. I heard on the radio the father of one of the girls from Gaza that he transported, how sorry he is.
To the humiliating ceremony of bringing the coffins of the babies of the Bibas family who were brutally murdered in Gaza, the people there brought small children to teach them what hatred is. This could never happen here.
We have the worst prime minister and government that could possibly exist, but a wonderful people, amazing people who show solidarity, compassion and support throughout this terrible period that we are going through.

    1. Hello Yael
Yes, I read about Mr Lifshitz. It goes to show the compassion and humanity is only one-sided here. The Gazan population are radicalised to an obscene level.

  5. A disgraceful display, to be sure. Simply extra pain for the deceased hostages' family, friends and supporters.

  6. I'm simply horrified by the level of carnage and destruction in Gaza (almost 50,000 dead). I just wish someone could find a way of ending the conflict and restoring normal life. The obvious solution is a two-state scenario, but opposition to that is still huge.

    1. Yes, quite. The devastation in Gaza is indeed horrific.
I don't think a 2-state solution is workable in the near future. A society too riven with death-inspired ideology and hatred.
      I hope you're keeping ok.

  9. Are you all blind ? There is an ethnic cleansing to be started. Learn hebrew and you can understand what the government prepares and listen to the population. You should all be horrified instead of justifying what happens in Gaza.
