Venetian doors

I’m going through an old album of photos from my last trip to Venice. Over 2 years ago.

I like taking taking photos of charming and eccentric doors. And there were so many in Venice.

    Old photo albums are fantastic. We assume we will never forget the details of earlier travels. But now I appreciate how important the date, participants, locations, historical details, architectural details etc are.

    Some great shots! I've never been to Venice. I always assume everything will smell musty there because of all the water. Am I right?

      Nope. It's clean beautiful sea water.
      Venice makes sure its water is clean and not embarrassing.

    It's easy to get lost exploring all the little alleys and canals. I was hopelessly lost once and got more and more panicky until somehow I ended up back at our hotel.
