I read a few articles on Free Press on how many failures have contributed to the actual disaster

ReplyDeleteWe are used to destructive bush fires in many summers, but there is one big difference. Ours are rural, largely destroying farms, animals and forests. Tragic.
ReplyDeleteCalifornia's fire is in a densely populated area, destroying homes, businesses and citizens. Doubly tragic.
It's an incredible catastrophe.

ReplyDeleteI have been following the Asheville disaster in North Carolina clearing up after Storm Helene and it is the same that many people do not have insurance to rebuild their houses. America's news as far as climate damage occurs is terrible.
ReplyDeleteThe wildfires were horrific. It's going to take people caught in them a very long time to rebuild their lives. I can only imagine their utter distress and dismay at the situation they find themselves in.
